The 1970s serve as an architectural foundation. In this era of fluid identities and shifting codes, Dior moves beyond retro aesthetics. Central to this transformation is the Oblique jacket. Recut with an elongated martingale strap, it reorients the garment’s structure and presence. Wide-leg trousers break away from conventional formality. Zip-up shirts with heightened collars suggest both protection and provocation. The Cannage-patterned Harrington jacket, typically utilitarian, is recontextualized with architectural precision—each garment a meticulous exercise in line and texture.


McLellan’s images set the collection in soft pastels and pale yellows. Models Oskar Geipel, Dugyeong Kim, and Dara Gueye embody a composed masculinity. In Melanie Ward’s styling, the clothes reveal an effortless construction for fall—far from overstatement. Accessories further shape the collection's tone.
