Alexander McQueen unveils a new bag for the fall winter 2022 pre-collection – The Bow Bag. The new bag takes inspiration from the bows seen in Alexander McQueen ready-to-wear collections. It has subtly become a symbol of femininity and decoration for the brand. Now, the McQueen bow is reinterpreted as an empowering feminine and functional object – a handbag.
Available in two sizes, both large and small, the new silhouette is offered in electric blue, canary yellow, black, denim, and woven raffia. The smaller version will include a cross body strap so it can also be worn over the shoulder.
The splicing of materials – including leather paired with raffia and leather paired with denim – echoes the unlikely fabric juxtapositions and patchworking that is, equally, an Alexander McQueen signature.
