Released on February 8th, the highly anticipated collaborative sneaker from AMIRI x Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO is now available in select stores.
In a groundbreaking partnership, the luxury West Coast label AMIRI and Japanese avant-garde designer Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO debut their first joint sneaker release. This limited-edition drop seamlessly merges American rock ‘n’ roll aesthetics with high-end streetwear craftsmanship, creating an instant icon in the world of luxury footwear.
The sneaker combines two of the brands' signature silhouettes: AMIRI’s Skel Top-Low and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s OG Sole Sneakers ‘PETERSON.’ Each sole is handcrafted from clay, with an artisanal process ensuring that no two pairs are exactly alike.
The upper features AMIRI’s distinctive nappa leather ‘Bones’ appliqué on a durable canvas base. Offered in two bold colorways—black with white accents and white with black detailing—the contrast stitching enhances the striking skeletal motif, making it a visually arresting piece.

Drawing inspiration from both Hollywood and Japanese cult classics, the campaign imagery takes cues from Takeshi Kitano’s 2000 film Brother. Shot in evocative black and white, it contrasts precisely tailored AMIRI suits with the street-influenced sneakers, creating a dynamic visual narrative that fuses luxury and subculture.
This collaboration is a testament to the creative legacies of both Mike Amiri and Mihara Yasuhiro. Mike Amiri, who founded his eponymous brand in 2014, quickly became known for his custom pieces worn by rock icons like Axl Rose and Steven Tyler. Today, AMIRI is beloved by celebrities such as Travis Kelce, Barry Keoghan, and Jared Leto. Since 1997, Mihara Yasuhiro has revolutionized footwear design with notable collaborations with brands like Puma and DC Shoes, as well as his recent reimagining of Autry’s Medalist model for Paris Fashion Week.

Each pair of AMIRI x Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO sneakers features co-branded woven labels on the tongue and heel, underscoring the exclusivity of this collaboration. With a limited production run and selective distribution—available only at select AMIRI stores worldwide and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO locations in Japan—these sneakers have quickly become coveted collector’s items.
