Behind the scenes with Louis Vuitton on its custom Met Gala look for Jackson Wang

Louis Vuitton unveils a behind the scenes look at the custom look designed for Jackson Wang by the Maison for the 2023 Met Gala. The atelier designed a custom 100% wool black double-breasted military cropped jacket with mandarin collar and black matching slim cut pants with leather gloves and boots.

The jacket features military inspired embroidery with handmade braids in Louis Vuitton’s monogram flower. The braids are applied by hand and took approximately 80 hours of embroidery and 40 hours of confection. See more photos of the process and learn more on louisvuitton.com
