Cate Blanchett wore custom Louis Vuitton repurposed High Jewelry to the BAFTA Awards in London

Cate Blanchett, winner of Best Actress for her role in Tár, wore a custom Louis Vuitton repurposed High Jewelry necklace and a black silk velvet Artisanal Dress created for her by John Galliano for Maison Margiela to the 76th British Academy Film Awards.
The dress was originally worn by Cate Blanchett for the 87th Academy Awards in 2015.
Louis Vuitton High Jewelry
Cate Blanchett wears a custom, unique pearl necklace using repurposed stones. Featuring a central 23.78-carat Nigerian Tourmaline connected to hand-threaded rows of metallic Tahitian pearls, the necklace takes Louis Vuitton’s circular creativity approach one step further. Subtly echoing the rigid lines of a Louis Vuitton trunk, the step-cut tourmaline has been given a second life, recovered from a previous High Jewelry design.
She also wears matching metallic Tahitian pearl earrings and a white gold and diamond ring from the Louis Vuitton Stellar Times High Jewelry collection.
