Hedi Slimane celebrated the 20th anniversary of his inaugural show at Palais de Tokyo with CELINE men's 'Dysfunctional Bauhaus' SS23. Slimane first showed at the Palais de Tokyo for his Dior Homme Autumn/Winter 2002 show. Slimane "had a fascination for [Palais de Tokyo's] Art Deco monumental architecture." Twenty years later, the CELINE HOMME 23 show becomes "a tribute to the institution and to remember this moment in [Slimane's] menswear reform."
The artworks accompanying the show are from David Weiss, Alyss Estay, Renata Petersen. The soundtrack for the show is an original one commissioned and co-produced by Hedi Slimane for CELINE. Titled "Design," it is performed, written, and arranged by Gustaf and produced by Chris Coady.
Special guests attending the show included: Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Jehnny Beth (previous Rain cover feature), Gustaf, Eddie Redmayne, Lisa Manobal, Diana Silvers, Bo Gum Park, and V (Taehyung Kim).
