Rhinestone mini-shorts, jumpsuits, embroidered bustiers, and little tank tops walk with leg-warmers, evening dresses, bathrobes, and casual pajamas. Contrasting CHANEL's iconic monochromatic colors, bursts of pink, a color dear to Virginie Viard, play alongside gold, evocative of cinema, and the eternal California sun, all convey a burst of vitality for Cruise.
The care imbued in fabrics, embroideries, and prints is at the heart of the collection and CHANEL. A range of motifs from geometric to figurative dazzle in the collection: gold squares, black and gold chevrons, disco balls, milkshakes, and roller skates – a spirit favored by Karl Lagerfeld, who was honored at the 2023 Met Gala this year, coconut palms and sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
