Paradoxically, sometimes the best form of futurism is one that looks back. This is the feeling we took from Christopher Kane‘s Spring/Summer 2020 collection presented in London. The futuristic collection traversed through space age influences, traditional western shapes with eastern patterns, and. The result was an optimistic peek into the future with designs that felt inviting and fresh.
The luxurious fabrics and precision cuts also stood out – so much so that you end up overlooking the casting because you can’t take your eyes off the clothes. Maybe that’s the ultimate compliment for a serious designer and purist like Christopher Kane.
