CMMN SWDN presents the Spring/Summer 2020 collection in Paris. The protagonist for this collection was the snakeskin print which appears frequently. The designers of CMMN SWDN, Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund, have chosen the pattern with intent. This beautiful pattern occurs naturally and is used as a proxy for a second skin. The color palette utilizes shades of brown, white, beige and a pop of bright yellow, often a sign for danger in nature.
A trellis motif appears on sheer shirts and knits. These are grounded by leather pants and jackets. Scarves extend from hats and are wrapped around the face. They walk styled as a headscarf or freely, creating a novel silhouette for the baseball cap.
