Drawing inspiration from diverse realms like mythology, modernism, and video game culture, Satterwhite gives the conventions of Western art a fresh perspective. Notably, he has the distinction of being only the second artist to be commissioned for The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Great Hall. Between October 7, 2023, and January 7, 2024, visitors can witness his multimedia and performance series.
