Dior haute couture fall winter 2021

July 5, 2021

Artistic Director of Dior women's, Maria Grazia Chiuri presents the Dior Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2021-2022 collection in Paris. Set against an artwork titled "Chamber de Soie" by French artist Eva Jospin, the show forms a dialogue specifically about materiality and tactility. Inspired by textile artist and curator, Clare Hunter's book Threads of Life, Chiuri seeks to uncover the journey of sewing and embroidery. For Chirui, these two components become "transmitters of memory and gestures of protection, care and protest."
