Etro introduces the Vela bag, a new handbag with instantly recognizable sculptural elements

Iconic Italian luxury House Etro unveils the Vela handbag for spring – the first bag under creative direction of Marco De Vincenzo. The natural world inspires the new calfskin leather bag. With a sharp and instantly recognizable shape, the contours take inspiration from a sail cutting through the wind.

The new V-shaped closure features a flexible zipper and chain. The Etro logo is engraved on one side of a medal and a Pegasus on the other in the same technique used to mint coins. The handbag is offered in black, ivory, gianduja chocolate, and seasonal colors. A double detachable shoulder strap allows the bag to be worn on the shoulder or cross-body.
