Fendi presents the Spring/Summer 2021 collection. There's much to be celebrated in the collection especially an emphasis on inclusion in the casting of the show. A soft color palette on sheer shirt dresses opens the show highlighting the premise of the collection:
Time spent with family – generations reunited at home in Rome – is a catalyst for quiet introspection: at the window or in the garden, watching the world go by.
We also notice modern takes on sporty summer suiting for men and a take on a modern luxurious romper that you would want to wear. Lace motifs find its way from traditional skirts to coats which are both cut with elaborate patterns. Summer layering is never an easy thing to do especially with a quickly changing climate which for many parts of the world often means hotter. Silvia Venturini Fendi makes it seem effortless with breathable suede ensembles for both men and women.
The rest of the show was reserved for a more formal affair. Leather pieces, puffers, suiting, and beautifully ombre-dyed coats remind us this is after all the house of Fendi, one of the few cornerstones remaining of timeless luxury fashion.
