Fendiunveils a striking collaboration with American iconRed Wingon this season's most extraordinary leather boots. Debuting as part ofFendi’sSpring-Summer 2025collection, the collaboration also coincides with the Italian house’s 100th anniversary andRed Wing’s120th year of craftsmanship.
Designed byKim Jonesfor his final womenswear collection withFendi, the new boot merges heritage and high fashion, offering a refined reimagination ofRed Wing'siconic 1952 Heritage Classic Moc silhouette. The lace-up ankle boots are meticulously crafted from materials selected byFendiartisans in Italy, then sent toRed Wing’sAmerican workshops for final assembly.

Each boot is distinguished by the iconicFFmotif, hand-woven into the leather upper with precision atFendi'sCapannuccia atelier in Tuscany. The boots come to life through the hands of 30 artisans, each pair taking 5 hours to weave and stitch before moving through 80 careful steps of construction. The smooth leather shapes into an elegant loafer toe, while two-tone laces thread through adding just a hint of contrast. A subtle heel lift of 30mm gives the boot a refined stance without sacrificing comfort.
The collaboration is available in two elegant colorways: sienna red and natural beige, both crafted fromFendi'ssuppleCuoio Romanoleather and finished with the house’s signatureSelleriahand-stitching technique. These elements bring a luxurious, editorial flair toRed Wing’srugged, utilitarian aesthetic.

The boot is designed for the modern woman—a balance of function and sophistication.Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, captures this sentiment: “The Red Wing boot, the sporty attitude worn with an evening dress, these shoes are made for walking. They're made for busy women!"

As part ofFendi’scentenary celebrations, this collaboration witnesses how heritage can be modernized. Retailing for $1,450 USD, theFENDI x Red Wingleather boots are available now atFendi’sstores and online onFendi.com.
