Givenchy, Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2019-20

Clare Waight Keller presents the Givenchy Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 collection in Paris. Keller continues to lead a legacy of inspiring design at the house of Givenchy. If we look to haute couture for less emphasis on commercial viability and more room for artistic expression, it’s clear Keller’s vision for the house is fully realized. The show begins with a compelling black and white motif across several different shapes. Mauve, mint green, gold, and pops of red accent an otherwise monochromatic color palette.

Plumage takes center stage with exquisite dresses adorned with ostrich feathers. Kaia Gerber walks in one of our favorites, a stunning dress with ostrich feathers dyed in blue and green. A few men’s looks walk including a silver coat clad in excessive sequins like armor. Explore the full show below. Images courtesy of Givenchy.
