Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, and Madelaine Petsch Dazzle at Swarovski’s ‘Masters of Light: From Vienna to Milan’ Exhibition Launch

On June 16, 2024, Swarovski unveiled its mesmerizing traveling exhibition, 'Swarovski - Masters of Light: from Vienna to Milan,' at the historic Palazzo Citterio in the heart of Milan. The event, which runs from June 17 to July 14, 2024, celebrates the Austrian house's nearly 130-year legacy and its profound impact on the worlds of fashion, jewelry, and pop culture.

Curated by British fashion journalist and critic Alexander Fury and envisioned by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, the exhibition takes visitors on an immersive journey through Swarovski's storied history. From its foundation in 1895 to its present-day collaborations with the biggest names in fashion and entertainment, 'Masters of Light' showcases the brand's ceaseless creativity and savoir-faire.

The exhibition features an exceptional selection of over 50 crystal-embellished outfits designed by renowned fashion houses, including Italian brands like Prada, Miu Miu, Fendi Couture, Gucci, Atelier Versace, and Armani Privé. Visitors can also admire pieces from global designers such as Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler Couture, and Vivienne Westwood, as well as historical couture gowns dating back to 1895.

The launch party was a star-studded affair, with celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Laetitia Casta, and Madelaine Petsch in attendance, all styled in stunning Swarovski creations. Paltrow shimmered in a fully crystallized slip dress paired with a one-of-a-kind showpiece necklace from the Swarovski Created Diamonds Galaxy Collection. Petsch dazzled in a gold crystallized mini dress and Imber and Dextera jewelry, while Bianca Balti wore an ice blue jewelry couture top created with Millenia crystals and a fully crystallized denim skirt.
