Hermès shows the spring summer 2022 collection in Paris. Hermès designer, Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, said of the collection, “I think [how women will want to dress re-entering the world from the pandemic] has changed,” she said. “For me it’s really about clothes that enable you to move freely. I think it’s not about going to anything too casual—I think it’s about making an effort, but also the ability to move within your clothes.”
Indeed, this collection feels light and sensuous. Vogue’s Sarah Mower said of the silhouettes, “believe it or not, the crop top and baggy pants—the trend worn by teenagers all over the world since summer 2020—has traveled all the way up to the heights of Hermès.”
