Feng Chen Wang presents her spring/summer 2019 collection in New York as part of New York Fashion Week, Men’s. RAIN speaks with her before the show in an exclusive interview.
Known for her playful proportions and sartorial approach to menswear, the collection evolves for spring by debuting beautiful ombre-dyed patterns across the ready-to-wear collection. Clothes as sculptural objects becomes a theme as models walk with coats draped across the shoulder, shirts are draped, styled, and sewn together as beautiful deconstructed expressions. A sculptural backpack comprised of blazers and bags made in the shape of giant white gloves recalls the sculpture installed specifically for the show. Explore the full show below.
