Co-chair Roger Federer paid tribute to Lagerfeld in a custom-made Dior tuxedo lined with Karl Lagerfeld sketches.

All eyes were on American fashion model Anok Yai, who radiated in an Atelier Prabal Gurung oxidized gold and silver dress, hand embroidered with cascading oxidized gold and silver sequin paillettes.
Ke Huy Quan
Actor Ke Huy Quan walked the carpet in a custom-made Dior suit complemented by black leather fingerless gloves, a silver brooch, a white cotton wide-collar shirt, and sunglasses, all contributing to a signature Lagerfeld look.
Adding a pop of color on the Met Gala carpet, actress Salma Hayek wore a custom Gucci dark red gown featuring a leather corset with pearl straps as sleeves, along with a removable tulle overskirt fitted at the waist with a bow.
Karl Lagerfeld’s Cat, Choupette
While many opted to honor Lagerfeld by embodying his signature style or wearing designs from the fashion house of Chanel, others chose to reference the late designer’s cat, Choupette.
Rapper Doja Cat wore cat-like facial prosthetics and a hooded Oscar de la Renta gown that featured cat ears.
Actor Jared Leto showed up in a full-sized cat costume before removing it to reveal an all-black ensemble.
