Louis Vuittonβs Dog LVππππ Spring 2025 Pre-Collection Takes Best in Show
November 6, 2024
Louis Vuitton unveils its Spring-Summer 2025 Men's Pre-Collection under Pharrell Williams, where the Creative Director presents a playful exploration of canine companionship through the lens of luxury fashion.
The collection, dubbed "Dog LVππππ," draws inspiration from the sophisticated world of dog shows and urban dog walking culture. Williams interprets this theme through a new Damier argyle motif, appearing across jacquard suits and trench coats, while a meta houndstooth pattern featuring an infinity dog head motif adorns select pieces. The collection's dandy daywear sensibility manifests in elegant proportions, from wide-leg suits to skate-short silhouettes.
In a notable expansion of the Maison's offerings, the house introduces its first-ever line of luxury pet accessories. Crafted in the iconic Monogram Canvas with VVN leather trim, the collection includes leads, collars, and even a dog-house trunk lined with monogram blankets. The playful "mini-me" approach extends to matching accessories for owners and their pets, including black velvet berets and coordinating bandanas with neckties.
The accessories lineup embraces the canine theme with new interpretations of house signatures. The emblematic Monogram Heritage motif fuses the original Damier pattern with the classic monogram in green and yellow variations, while bags feature paw-shaped charms and dog-face leather appliquΓ©s. Even the footwear collection nods to this narrative with the Dog Collar Loafer, garnished with metal dog-collar buckles.
Pre-launched on louisvuitton.com and the LV App on October 24, 2024, the collection arrived in stores worldwide on October 31, marking a whimsical yet sophisticated addition to Williams' vision for the house. For more coverage, read our complete review of [Louis Vuitton Men's Spring 2025 Show].
