Marina Abramovic is restaging her famous work ‘The Artist Is Present’ to raise money for Ukraine

Marina Abramovic will be reperforming her renown work 'The Artist Is Present' to raise money for Ukraine. Twelve years ago, thousands of people attended the performance at the MoMA in New York. Many camped for a chance to sit across from Abramović to experience the work. Abramović will auction two seats across from her in a re-performance of the piece. At a recent press conference Abramovic also noted her installation in Ukraine, the "Crystal Wall of Crying" had been destroyed. The monument commemorated Jews killed in the Babyn Yar massacre.
