Monica Barbaro Joins Dior as Its Latest Ambassador, Stuns At SAG Awards
In a move that perfectly blends star power with couture, Dior has announced actress Monica Barbaro as its newest brand ambassador, effective February 21st. Barbaro joins an illustrious roster that includes influential figures from film, music, and the arts.
Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of Dior’s women’s collections, warmly welcomed Barbaro to the prestigious family of Dior ambassadors. "Since I was a child, I’ve been inspired by fashion and its evolution as an art form. Dior has always held an iconic place in my imagination. I am so honored to join a house that sets the gold standard for elegance, craftsmanship, and the celebration of the feminine," Barbaro said of her new partnership, as reported by WWD.

Barbaro made a memorable debut as Dior ambassador at the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards on February 23rd in Los Angeles. Commanding attention on the red carpet, she wore a breathtaking Dior column dress styled by Jeanann Williams, who has been collaborating with Barbaro throughout the "A Complete Unknown" press tour.

The architectural nature of her gown perfectly captured Chiuri’s signature blend of feminine strength and romanticism. The ensemble was further elevated by exquisite BVLGARI jewelry, whose brilliance complemented the gown’s classical design. At the awards show, Barbaro was nominated for her portrayal of activist singer-songwriter Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, where she appeared alongside Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, and Edward Norton.
As Barbaro’s meteoric rise in Hollywood intersects with Dior’s visionary aesthetic under Chiuri, this partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in cinema, fashion, and red carpet glamour.
