The Hybrid: Where Innovation Meets Versatility

First introduced in his debut collection for At.Kollektive, the Hybrid sneaker has evolved. Utilizing techniques that mimic natural folds and creases in leather, Do has crafted a sneaker that elevates style and comfort.

Expanding the Hybrid Universe

Beyond the sneaker, this season also sees the introduction of a ballerina flat, loafer, platform, boot, and high-knee additions to the Hybrid line. The supple leather ballerina molds to the foot along with the rest of the entire line featuring the same innovative creased leather technique. The resulting Hybrid concept expands into a complete range of styles for the footwear wardrobe.

The Alchemy of Leather

Do's creative process begins with a profound respect for the material itself. His design journey with At.Kollektive began in the leather workshops of ECCO's Holland tannery, where the possibilities of leather craftsmanship come to life.

Panos Mytaros, CEO of ECCO (At.Kollektive's parent company), speaks to this season’s approach: "It’s the second collection for all the contributors this season, and you can see the inspiration they get from what we can do in the tanneries – the colour options and finishes of the leather. This calibre of innovation spurs designers’ vision, resulting in truly unique pieces.”

Alongside Do, designers Kiko Kostadinov and Nina Christen return with their own leather innovations. With prices ranging from €225 to €1,995 (approximately $250 to $2,230), these luxury pieces represent a renewed vision of materiality and form for a new generation.

For those eager to experience Do's vision firsthand, the collection will be available online at atkollektive.com and in select stores internationally. Peter Do's statement on the future of fashion with leather as the medium, illustrates the Hybrid line is not filled with simple accessories but essential expressions of modern life.
