Prada presents ‘Observia,’ an imagined reality filled with illusion, dreams, imagination and actuality. Tapping a trio of young actors – Joe Alwyn, Nick Robinson, and Algee Smith alongside actor and director Paul Dano, these protagonists discover Prada’s multi-facested identity, and their own. An extension from the fall/winter 2018 show, the ‘Prada Warehouse’ becomes a space that can be inhabited but is nevertheless a cheimera, a mirage. It is populated with identities and demarcated with symbols from Prada’s past collections. The Warehouse and monochrome portraits are photographed by Willy Vanderperre and investigate concepts of uniformity and individuality, their distinct personalities shining through, brings truth to the illusion.
