Last night, Anthony Vaccarello presented the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer ’18 collection beneath the Eiffle Tower in Paris. The collection delved deep into the archive of Yves Saint Laurent and emerged with a sexified and provocative vision. Vaccarello said of the collection, “I really wanted to pay homage to [Pierre Bergé, the longtime business partner of Yves who passed away recently in early September]…to Yves Saint Laurent, to the house. Even if it’s a cliché, I want to push the cliché so far it’s beautiful…I really wanted to work with my team and tell a story of Paris and Yves Saint Laurent. There is nothing deeper than that to it.”
