Slowear Showcases Contemporary Tailoring for Spring-Summer 2025

October 13, 2024

Slowear chose Milan Fashion Week as its stage for presenting a Spring-Summer 2025 collection that showcased the brand’s rich heritage and exceptional tailoring. Founded in Venice in 1951 by brothers Roberto and Marzio Compagno, the brand has accumulated over 70 years of tailoring experience while expanding to such diverse destinations as London, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul. That broad international acumen and specialized expertise was all evident at the Spring-Summer 2025 presentation. Slowear cleverly combined traditional menswear silhouettes with contemporary feminine sensibility for an exquisitely tailored collection perfect for urban lifestyles across the globe.

The collection was divided into three major components: “Blossoming” captured the soft colors of spring, “memory” delved into the archives to create fresh interpretations of classic silhouettes, and “to the riviera” was an exuberant explosion of color and hedonism. It was a comprehensive wardrobe for both casual days and glamorous events, yet it was also cohesive and distinctly Italian. One highlight was a field jacket originally developed in the 1970s by Walter Albini as a menswear piece. Other particularly memorable looks included a voluminous navy pinstripe suit and a minimalist tan jacket given structure by a delicate belt.

Slowear synthesizes timeless savoir faire with an exultant celebration of self-expression, ensuring it continues to be a force in both the Italian and international fashion scenes. From the streets of Milan to a summer idyll on the coast, Slowear has pieces to keep women looking elegant and discerning throughout Spring-Summer 2025.
