The 2022 Guggenheim International Gala annual fundraising event took place at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
Prior to the dinner, guests were invited to discover the exhibition Alex Katz: Gathering, on view through February 20, 2023, followed by a performance by multi-GRAMMY winning singer and pianist, Norah Jones. The benefit dinner, menu by chef and entrepreneur Rōze Traore, was in honor of Richard Armstrong and Dior.

Proceeds from the GIG contribute to the Guggenheim Museum’s general operating fund, which advances a range of internationally acclaimed exhibitions and educational programs, supports stewardship of the Guggenheim’s unparalleled collections of modern and contemporary works of art, and provides for the care of the museum’s landmark Frank Lloyd Wright–designed building.
