Taipei Fashion Week has firmly established itself as a major player in Asia's fashion scene, bringing Taiwan’s vibrant and innovative design voices to the global stage. For the Autumn-Winter season, designers showcased collections that fuse cultural heritage with modern concepts, positioning Taipei as a pivotal force in global fashion.
Liyu Tsai: Poetry in Motion
Liyu Tsai’s "Double Rhythm" collection opened the week with a striking blend of urban energy and natural serenity. The collection explored the contrast between day and night, with sculpted silhouettes created through Queue de Rat techniques that drew the eye.

Chow des Homme: Redefining the Playing Field
CHOW des HOMME made an unforgettable impact by transforming the Wanhua Sports Center football field into an electrifying runway for their "Unbroken Formation" presentation. The show fused sports culture with high fashion, tapping into the vibrant energy of Generation Z.
Models sprinted across the field like athletes, showcasing garments adorned with player autographs and capturing the fervor of fans. The energy continued at an after-party at Nanshan Plaza, which featured a second runway show and an exclusive apparel launch, cementing the brand as a cultural touchstone for Taiwan’s youth.

Yentity: The Duality of Life
Yentity’s "VICE VERSA" collection explored the tension between motherhood and creative ambition. Drawing inspiration from Mark Rothko’s color field paintings, the collection intertwined light and shadow, structure and fluidity.
Tailored pieces softened with sheer fabrics reflected Rothko’s iconic color blocks, while symbolic calla lilies—representing sincere love—offered a personal tribute to those balancing family and career. In a first for the brand, Yentity opened a pop-up shop at Staff Only Club, allowing attendees to purchase pieces from the runway immediately.

Hansen Atelier: Cinematic Desire
Hansen Kuo’s "In the Mood for Love"-inspired collection for HANSEN ATELIER drew from classic Chinese cinema, particularly Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love and Ang Lee’s Lust, Caution. The collection blended sophisticated tailoring with luxurious fabrics to explore themes of restraint and longing.
"Fashion is not only an expression of style, but also a transmission of emotion," said Kuo. "Through materials and tailoring, I enable the audience to feel the emotional fluctuations hidden in films. More importantly, clothing can be like the lens language in cinema, able to convey feelings."

Just In XX: Pets Take Center Stage
In an unexpected but brilliant twist, designer Justin Chou of JUST IN XX launched "TaiPet Fashion Week," Taiwan’s first-ever dedicated pet fashion event, held at the pet-friendly LEECO department store. The show featured 15 custom-designed human-pet matching outfits, elevating pet apparel to the realm of high fashion.
"All along, international cities have had their own fashion weeks. Now, having an independent pet fashion week is also becoming a necessary trend for important global cities," noted Chou in the event's press release. "In recent years, the number of pet microchip implantations in Taiwan has exceeded the number of newborn births, and pets are gradually becoming the new core role in families. As a pet owner, I deeply feel that the protagonists of the fashion stage are being rewritten."

The Future of Taipei Fashion
Taipei Fashion Week stands out for its authenticity. Rather than following trends, Taiwan’s designers confidently express their unique cultural perspectives. From Liyu Tsai’s urban-natural duality to CHOW des HOMME’s sports-fashion fusion, Yentity’s exploration of life balance, Hansen Kuo’s cinematic inspirations, and Justin Chou’s pet fashion innovation, Taipei is solidifying its position as a global fashion leader.
As the fashion world increasingly spotlights genuine cultural narratives, Taipei’s designers are paving the way with collections that honor tradition while boldly stepping into the future. With sustainability woven throughout the week’s Autumn-Winter presentations, Taipei Fashion Week positions the city as a powerful and unique voice in the global fashion dialogue.
