Title: Loro Piana Interiors Celebrates Cini Boeri’s Legacy at Milan Design Week 2024

Loro Piana Interiors pays tribute to the iconic Milanese architect and designer Cini Boeri with an immersive installation titled "A Tribute To Cini Boeri" at Cortile della Seta during Milan Design Week 2024. The exhibition, open from April 16th to 21st, showcases Boeri's most renowned pieces upholstered in Loro Piana's luxurious Interiors fabrics, honoring the centenary of both Boeri's birth and the founding of Loro Piana.

Developed in collaboration with Archivio Cini Boeri, the installation embodies one of Boeri's core design principles: a home with separate rooms and a shared common space. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the pieces, experiencing Boeri's vision of furniture that engages with users and adapts to their needs.

The exhibition features Boeri's iconic designs, such as the modular Strips system, Strips bed, Pecorelle sofas and armchairs, Bobo and Boborelax armchairs, and Botolo high and low chairs. Each piece is upholstered in Loro Piana Interiors' exquisite fabrics, including Cashfur, Cashmere Raw, Tiepolo wool, Cashmere Sherpas, and the exclusive Pecora Nera®.

Francesco Pergamo, Director of Loro Piana Interiors, highlights the timeless relevance of Boeri's design philosophy and the perfect synergy between her creations and Loro Piana's fabrics. Giulia and Antonio Boeri, founders of Archivio Cini Boeri, emphasize their grandmother's joyful approach to design and their dedication to preserving her legacy.

This collaboration marks the beginning of a three-year journey, culminating in the first major retrospective of Cini Boeri's life at Triennale in 2026. Alongside the installation, Archivio Cini Boeri and Triennale Milano present "Cini Boeri nella Biblioteca del Parco" from April 15th to 28th, further celebrating Boeri's extraordinary contributions to the world of design.
