“Once in a lifetime” is an idiom by Japanese tea master “Sen no Rikyu” and was the starting point of this UNDERCOVER SS22 collection. Founder of the brand, Jun Takahashi, explains:
For this collection, I worked in a great environment which is a brand new studio located in a mountain where I can walk down to the beach. Cherish the ordinary. It reflects my wish to create designs that are not excessively decorative but deeply rooted in everyday life. The style of music and graphic designs created by the Japanese rock band “OGRE YOU ASSHOLE”, one of the collaborators of this season embodies my feelings. Even an ordinary day, any moment in life cannot be repeated. Treasure every single day of your life… is the theme for this collection.
