Valentino announces the upcoming men’s spring summer 2024 show on June 16th in Milan

Valentino announces its Menswear spring summer 2024 collection, 'Valentino the Narratives.' The collection will be shown on June 16, 2023, at 2p at the Università degli Studi di Milano Statale in Milan. This is the same venue Mr. Valentino Garavani debuted the first Men's show in January of 1985.

Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli chose this venue on the opening day of Milano Fashion Week. With the University active, students are welcome to experience the show live. The Maison further supports communities and the industry by showing on the official fashion calendar, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.

In January 1985, Mr. Valentino Garavani made his debut in the world of menswear by presenting his first show in Milan. Now Pierpaolo Piccioli's men's collection becomes a timeless statement, elevating the category and intertwining Valentino's distinctive codes with the essence of Milan. Building upon Valentino's legacy, Pierpaolo Piccioli has embarked on a journey to redefine the boundaries of men's fashion, pushing the male wardrobe in an ever-contemporary direction.

Redefining Menswear

This season, the Maison parts with its co-ed show, elevating menswear into a singularly powerful moment. Menswear will continue conversing with womenswear. However, the category will become an important symbol of Piccioli's redefinition of masculine codes.

In previous collections, such as Unboxing Valentino, the House launched Maison Valentino Essentials. The selection of unmissable menswear staples reconsiders traditional rules and limitations. This offering pushed menswear into an even more open and accessible space for Valentino. With the Maison behind him, Piccioli will iterate these staples, further pushing the bounds of formalwear.

The Valentino The Narratives Menswear show will be presented as part of Milan FashionWeek. The show will be streamed live on Valentino.com and on social channels on June 16, 2023, at 2p (UTC +2).
