Yves Tumor releases new album, announces US tour with Izzy Spears and Frost Children

Experimental music pioneer Yves Tumor releases the long-awaited album, Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) via Warp Records and announces a US tour with Izzy Spears and Frost Children. 

Yves Tumor's fifth studio album continues to build on Tumor's charismatic artistic thesis of redefining what the pop world begins to emulate. Tumor's songs are sexual, poetic, and honest: a naked voice spoke from the depth and ended in a spiritual church-like celebration. Tumor's songwriting forms a montage of arresting hooks, uncanny arrangements, and compelling songwriting.

Alongside the new album, Tumor continues their world-building visuals with singles such as 'Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood' (directed by Cody Critcheloe), 'Echolalia,' and 'God Is a Circle' (directed by Jordan Hemingway). The album is rounded out by contributions from Yves' collaborators, including co-production by Yves Rothman (Blondshell, Amaarae) and instrumentation contributions from Chris Greatti (Yungblud, WILLOW), Dylan Wiggins (Rosalía, Vince Staples), Lemar Carter (Solange, Demi Lovato), Rhys Hastings.

Praise A Lord Who Chews But Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds) marks the formal follow-up of The Asymptotical World EP and Tumor's preceding album Heaven To A Tortured Mind, both include accolades from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, the FADER, NPR.

Yves also announces their USA and Canadian tour with openers Frost Children, Izzy Spears, % Nation, and #Evanora Unlimited. Yves Tumor's live performances are transformative and have received emphatic reviews from The New Yorker, NYLON, Stereogum, and the Guardian.
