Givenchy x (b).STROY drop NFTs

November 18, 2022

Following the Givenchy x (b).STROY capsule collection collaboration, Givenchy announces the launch of limited edition NFTs. The NFTs minted for the collaboration were created by FELT Zine, the experimental Web3 artist collective, in partnership with Matthew M. Williams, Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams. This marks Givenchy's first-ever collaboration with a Web3-native artist.

The NFTs

There will be a total of 6 NFTs (via Aura Blockchain Consortium) corresponding to 6 products, the final mint will be 360. Clients can buy the product either in-store on online in USA and certain EU countries and they will receive an email to redeem their NFT. There is no additional cost for these NFTs / digital assets.

"Brick and Du are longtime friends who share my vision of fashion as an inclusive space for experimentation and expressing personal style. Together, the three of us focused on creating streetwear with unexpected treatments that resonates beyond fashion and enters the realm of contemporary art on the street and in Web3," said Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams.

(b).STROY captures the essence of the street, and Matthew's work for Givenchy epitomizes urban style with Parisian flair. For this collaboration, we wanted to merge our respective aesthetics and create an experience that goes beyond the collection itself"

FELT Zine collaborators are directly influenced by talents like Matthew M. Williams who allow us to create freely and see our aesthetics and interests reflected at the highest level of art and fashion. With Givenchy, we are actualizing our inspiration in real time while making a Web3 contribution to the House's heritage.

About the capsule

Looking to the future of fashion, the Givenchy x (b).STROY collection fuses streetwear essentials for women and men — t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, varsity jackets, statement bags and footwear — with an instinctive visual language that will be instantly meaningful to both brands' passion communities. Layered colors, emblematic embroideries and experimental treatments permeate the collection, which includes a Givenchy x (b).STROY double-headed hoodie inspired by the New York label's emblematic design.

Givenchy x (b).STROY accessories offer colorful new takes on urban essentials like multi-colored low-tops, moon boots, and limited-edition caps. For women, they include an Antigona Soft with metal charms, a Moon Cut-Out shoulder bag, a denim G-Tote, and Shark Lock boots embellished with metal charms.

Men's backpacks — one in a classic shape embellished with (b).STROY patches, the other a G-Zip with a new interpretation of the Givenchy emblem — keep company with a mint green G-Shopper bearing the Givenchy 4G emblem in royal blue on one side and (b).STROY graphics on the other. The TK-360 returns in new colorways, from gradient gray to blue/green and red/yellow. Customized denim caps and multicolored tags with Givenchy lettering round out the capsule.
